The Story

I’ve always believed there is something magical about the way art can make us stop and notice things we might otherwise pass by.

My journey as an artist has been entirely self-taught. I learned through years of creating, experimenting, making mistakes, and allowing my style to evolve naturally along the way. I found myself drawn to combining different worlds. Realism with abstraction, traditional techniques with contemporary ideas, and familiar landscapes with elements that feel a little more dreamlike.

I realized that escapism had become a thread connecting so much of what I create. I’m inspired by nature, light, colour, and those fleeting everyday moments that somehow make the world feel extraordinary. I want my work to give people a reason to stop for a moment and really look.

What began simply as a love of creating has grown into a career I could never have dreamed of. My work has taken me from private commissions and murals to exhibitions, live painting, collaborations, galleries, and spaces throughout Calgary and beyond. With every new project, I’m still learning, experimenting, and finding new ways to bring the worlds in my imagination to life.

More than anything, I hope my work reminds people how much beauty exists around us.
